Saturday was a day we've been waiting for for at least a year! Amazingly it finally came. (Just a reminder that if it seems to far away, it really isn't!) The biggest thing was that we took Audrey and Nora to see it with us and my parents.
It was a magical afternoon. The girls looked so cute in their "Princess Leah" hairdos! (I did my best with what I had.)
We've been talking about the show, its plot and characters. I wanted them to understand what was going on so the questions during the show could be kept at a minimum. It worked pretty well. The second act we had lap sitters and more questions, but I love that musical. It is funny, moving, thought provoking, and those songs are stickers. We are all singing them non-stop!
I realized how much smaller the Capital Theater is than the Broadway theaters with this show, but I felt so close to the performers.
Nora says she wants to see it again. She says that when she is eleven she will take Collier to see it. Collier shed many a tear about not getting to go, but he had a special date with Nana and Papa and fun with friends while we were gone.
I hope I always get to witness that magical wonder in the eyes of my children!

Nora had a Snow White Birthday party this week. We celebrated early because she wanted Mckinnley to be there. We played her favorite, Hullabaloo, and Snow White, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty (Nora’s creation of Duck, Duck, Goose). Then we made tutus for all the girls. All the cousin’s that live close will be taking a dance class together, so now they will be able to dance in style. They were so cute!!!










Nana made Nora a fabulous cake with six princesses on it. She got an Elmo book with a music player from Kath and Becc, new pots and pans and food from Judy and her family, a princess scrapbook about herself from Amber and books from Grandma.
